EFA at Classical:NEXT in Rotterdam
16 May 2018
EFA is hosting for the second time a network meeting at Classical:NEXT, the yearly event reuniting the entire art music scene for four days in Rotterdam (and online all year).
On 17 May from 10:45-11:45 You can find us at the Willem de Burger Foyer for the Live Delegate Structured Networking Session. Go in-depth with peers and new contacts from the live music sector in 3x10 min. conversations! Meet your colleagues, make new connections, exchange ideas and get inspired by the table guests joining your table. Confirmed table guests are: Luis Perandones (MUV.AC, S.L.), Natalia Klingbajl (NFM Wroclaw), Lenka Dohnalová (Czech Arts and Theater Institute), Christoph Tymendorf (Euro Chamber Music Festival), Stef Coninx (Kunstenpunt and EFFE Hub Belgium), Ruth Jakobi European Music Council), Johan Moerman (Rotterdam Festivals), Virgo Sillamaa (Music Estonia), Tamar Brüggemann (Wonderfeel and EFFE International Jury Member), Marshall McGuire (Melborne Recital Center).
It works like this - participants are seated 5 to a table. Each table has one “ “table guest”, who will introduce a topic and guide and inspire the conversation. Four additional people are “table residents”. After 10 minutes, the bell rings and the table guest goes to another table to kick off the conversation there. Participants not only get know new people but also gather useful insight and new perspectives on artistic and organizational opportunities in the live performance sector.
Registration Procedure: Reserve your slot through conference@classicalnext.com – first come, first serve.
On 18 May from 16:00-16:45 we host another network meeting at the Interactive Space in the Willem Burger Foyer with a short presentation of EFA and it's online festival portal www.effe.eu and Johan Moerman of Rotterdam Festivals will explain how festivals contribute to the development of the city.
