Péter Inkei has advised the European Festivals Association on various initiatives, including the EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions, the 70-Years-on Agenda, and EFFEA. Currently, he is affiliated to Summa Artium Nkft. Earlier, Péter was the founder and director of the Budapest Observatory, a non-profit organisation engaged in European cultural issues. Previously, he held various positions in the public service, including that of Deputy State Secretary for Culture. Péter has also been the chief editor of the Central European University Press since 2001.
